There are plenty of photo shoots around the web of various cars, supercars and hypercars, but something about this photo shoot really works. Set up by the founders of future photography, Alexandre Mourraeu and Florent Poncelet, the Reventon Roadster and Stirling Moss have some similar characteristics.
Although aesthetically, the cars look completely different, both cars have gullwing doors, are open topped and are limited in production. The performance figures are similar too. The Reventon Roadster was inspired by the F-22 Raptor and first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009.
The SLR Stirling Moss was inspired by the 300 SLR race car that won the World’s Sportscar Championship in 1955. The Stirling Moss was the final model to be produced under the Mercedes-McLaren partnership. Powered by a 5.4-litre V8 engine, the Stirling Moss produces 640 bhp, a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 mph. When unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in 2009, it was announced that just 75 units would be produced, and the vehicle would only be available to those who owned a SLR McLaren.
